I would have to say that the UDI U818A is the cheapest quadcopter on the market that has a camera attached to it which makes it the perfect drone for beginners. While the camera quality reminds me somewhat of a phone from six years ago it’s definitely more than enough for a new flyer. You can even attach a USB cable to the microSD card and watch whatever video footage you take on your computer.
If you’re wanting a drone that can do tricks then you will definitely be happy with the U818A thanks to the 360 inversion mode. Just make sure whenever you’re doing tricks you have a good amount of altitude so you don’t plummet into the ground. If you do happen to crash the plastic on this quad is a little flexible and while it almost feels flimsy it actually takes away a lot of the damage when you run into something. With the modular design makes it really easy in case you do need to do some form of repair.
The battery that comes with this drone is a high-powered LiPo battery which gives around 10 minutes of maximum flying time but always remember to fully charge your battery before your first flight. Taking proper care of your batteries such as waiting 15 minutes to recharge after flying will make sure your battery life last much longer. Take it from an experience quadcopter flyer that not taking proper care of your batteries will definitely kill your fun from having to do with such short flights.
